Lodging FAQs

Many of your questions can be answered by reviewing our Terms and Conditions. Additional answers to frequently asked questions are listed below.

Is a deposit/payment required when booking a reservation?

We require at least 50% of the total to be paid at time of booking with credit/debit card. The remaining balance auto deducts the day before your arrival date. When booking in person, we do not accept cash for cabin reservations- credit/debit card only.

When is check-in and check out?

Check-in time is 3 pm for cabin guests, and it is 1 pm for RV guests. Check out time is 10 am for all guests on property.

Where do I check-in? What is the check-in process?

Once you receive your confirmation email, you will need to login to your Guest Portal to complete and sign your registration/waivers and upload a photo ID prior to arrival date. Upon arrival you will check in at the General Store. Late arrivals will retrieve a welcome packet from the Late Check-In box, which is located to the right of the front door of the General Store.

What is your pet policy?

Pets are permitted if you are staying in an RV site. We have a large dog park located near the RV sites. Pets at RV sites must be leashed at all times, unless inside the dog park. Pets are NOT allowed in or around the cabins.

Is smoking allowed in the cabins?

Smoking is not permitted in any of the cabins.

Are waterpark or treetop adventure park tickets included in my reservation?

Your reservation includes only your RV site or cabin stay. Lodging guests receive discounts on waterpark and Treetop Adventure Park tickets during your stay. More info on property attraction discounts can be found here. Attraction Discounts

Do you have a separate pool from the waterpark?

All swimming access is IN the waterpark. We do not have a separate pool. Please check Waterpark Hours and Treetop Adventure Park Hours for dates and times of operation as it relates to the dates of your stay.  

Do you rent golf carts?

We do not have golf cart rentals. However, you are welcome to bring your own. It is typically less than a 5 minute walk to all of the property attractions.

I'm staying in a cabin. What do I need to bring? What is provided?

Are the RV sites full hook up?

All of our RV sites include concrete pads with water, sewer and electric. All of the electric is 20/30/50 amp at every site. Every RV site also has a fire ring and a picnic table.

Can your RV sites accommodate large campers?

Yes. Our RV sites range from 41 feet up to 63 feet in length. We can accommodate campers up to 45 feet comfortably in most site types.

Do you have "buddy" sites?

Currently, we do not have “buddy” sites. However, if you can make it work with your connections at your RV site, we do not mind if you pull into your site in opposite directions if travelling with others.

Can I choose a specific RV site or cabin?

Our online booking system only allows for choosing your site type, i.e., pull-thru, hillside cabin, etc. If you have a specific site preference, you can notate that in your reservation when booking. We will do our best to place you accordingly based on availability. We will always call or email you regarding any site requests that we are not able to accommodate.

Can I bring my own boat, jet ski, or kayak?

Yes. All motorized watercrafts must be kept at our Marina and are not permitted in the campground or at the cabins. Slips at the marina are available for lodging guests for $10 + tax per day. Contact our Marina office at 615-883-0413 to plan accordingly. Small, non-motorized watercraft may be kept with you at your RV site or cabin.

Can we bring our own firewood?

Damaging forest pests such as the emerald ash borer are being spread throughout the U.S. by the movement of firewood. The insect has damaged or killed millions of ash trees in Tennessee and numerous other states. We adhere to the forestry laws to protect the trees at our property and do not allow firewood to be brought onto Nashville Shores. We do have firewood for sale at our General Store.

Do I need a fishing license to fish at your campground?

Yes. A Tennessee fishing license is required. For more information regarding fishing in Tennessee and to obtain a license, visit Tennessee Fishing Licenses.

Can I have guests visit my cabin or RV site? Can I have a birthday party or gathering at my cabin or RV site?

All cabins and RV sites are for registered guests only. You are welcome to celebrate birthdays, etc. at your cabin or RV site with the 6 registered guests on your reservation, but you may not invite additional guests. We offer birthday party packages for our waterpark and Treetop Adventure Park areas if you are needing to accommodate more than 6 people for your party needs. Do you host RV Rallys?

Yes, we love hosting RV Rallys. Usually, we require a minimum of 25 sites for a rally. However, depending on the time of year, may make an exception. Please contact Dana Guettner at [email protected] for more information about hosting rally at Nashville Shores.
