A Special Event
Salute to Freedom 2009 observes and recognizes the sacrifices of men and women who have served in the armed forces and their families who have supported them. The event provides a time and space for all members of the armed forces to come together to share experiences, spend time with family and friends, and remember comrades in arms who made the ultimate sacrifice.
This event is open to the general public. We encourage people to come out and enjoy the music, fireworks, and other festivities, but also take time to say thank you to many of our active military and veterans at Salute to Freedom.
