How far are you from downtown Nashville?
Nashville Shores is conveniently located off I-40 just two exits east of Nashville International Airport; approximately 10 minutes east of downtown Nashville. Click here for directions.
 
Can I share my season pass with someone else?
All of our season passes include a photo ID, so sharing your season pass with anyone else is not permitted.
 
Does Nashville Shores offer a military discount?
Yes! The 2013 military discount rate is $27.99 plus tax. You must present a valid military ID.
 
Do you accept checks?
We do not accept personal checks.
 
I do not want to swim. Do I still need to pay admission?
Yes; Nashville Shores offers many dry activities, everyone entering the park must pay admission. Your all-day admission allows you to relax on our Nashville Shoreliner and enjoy 20 to 30-minute lake cruises on Percy Priest Lake. Nashville Shores also offers volleyball and horseshoes.
 
Are there lockers available for rent?
Yes! The locker rates are $6 plus a $2 deposit. When you return your key, you will receive your $5 deposit back. There are also season locker passes available for just $29.99 plus tax. You can purchase a season locker pass online, over the phone at (615) 889-7050 x217, or at the ticket booth. Locker availability is on a first-come, first-serve basis. There will only be a limited number of season locker passes sold.

Are there tubes available for rent?
Tubes at Nashville Shores for the attractions are provided free of charge. They are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Are there life jackets available? 
Nashville Shores does provide lifejackets free of charge. Outside life jackets, puddle jumpers and flotation devices must be coast guard approved to bring in the park.
 
Is there a charge for parking?
Daily parking is $9 and a season parking pass can be purchased for $29.99 plus tax. Season parking pass is for passenger car/trucks only. Season parking pass may not  be used for RV, trailer or bus. 

Do your prices include tax?
No. Tennessee sales tax, 9.25%, is added to your purchases. Gate admission, concessions, and gift shop items are subject to tax.

Is their disability parking available?
Yes. We have disability parking spaces available near the entrance of the park. Disability license plate or hang tag must be visible. Standard parking fees apply. We also have disability parking and offer a shuttle service to the outlying parking areas at the park.

Is the park wheelchair accessible?
A majority of our park is level to gently-rolling and is thus wheelchair accessible.
 
Can I bring food, a cooler or my grill to Nashville Shores?
You can bring in one unopened water bottle per person.  Bottle may not exceed 20 ounces. Other outside food, beverages and coolers are not allowed anywhere in the park.  We do offer a wide array of food in our concession stands, including pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, and chicken. Grills are prohibited on our property. Glass containers are also not allowed.

What if I have special dietary needs?
If you have any special dietary needs, guests should visit First Aid located near the park entrance when they arrive at the park for approval to bring in special dietary foods. The special dietary food containers will be marked to clearly show that they have been approved for entry into the park.

Do you serve alcoholic beverages?
Yes. Nashville Shores has two areas where alcohol is served.
 
What swimming attire is acceptable?
Swimsuits are required on all water attractions. Cutoffs, thong bikinis, denim shorts, or shorts with metal brads or buttons are not allowed.

Are goggles allowed? Goggles that cover your eyes are permitted in the waterpark. Face goggles or goggles that cover your eyes and nose are not permitted.
 
What happens if it rains?
Nashville Shores remains open during periods of rain. However, operations will be suspended if there is any threat of lightning in the area. Nashville Shores will re-open as soon as the threat has passed.

Rain Policy: During RAIN or STORMS some and/or all rides and/or slides may be shut down temporarily for your safety. RAIN CHECKS will be issued only when Nashville Shores closes for the day. Absolutely NO REFUNDS will be issued. By paying admission you have agreed to this policy and NO EXCEPTIONS will be made.

Do you offer refunds? Nashville Shores does not offer refunds for ticket purchases.
 
Are there any height requirements on your slides?
There are 8 water slides. The Music City Racer, the Big Scream, Thunder and Lightning, and Tennessee Twisters also require that you are 48" tall. The Twin Cyclones requires that riders are at least 36" tall. Click here for a list of all

Can I drop my child off for the day? 
Yes, but children younger than 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older.

 
How do I obtain an application for summer employment? 
There are several ways! Stop by the Guest Relations building at Nashville Shores any time during operating hours.
 
Are boats available for rent?
Yes; you can rent pontoon boats at
Nashville Boat Rentals.  Contact Nashville Boat Rentals at (615) 533-4140 for further information.
 
Are rides on the Shoreliner included with my admission?
Yes! The
Shoreliner operates daily and is included in your admission. The cruise takes you past the J. Percy Priest dam and around the lake for a breathtaking 15 - 20-minute journey. Check the schedule when you enter the park for cruise times.
 
Can I charter the Nashville Shoreliner?

Are your lifeguards certified?
Yes! All Nashville Shores lifeguards are certified and trained in CPR and first aid. Many Nashville Shores' lifeguards were recognized internationally by Ellis & Associates for their excellence. Last year, our lifeguards received "Exceeds" on their audits from Ellis. This is the highest designation a park can receive. 
 
Is there an EMT on site?

We have an EMT in our First Aid station every day to assist with any of your medical needs. The First Aid station is located near the park entrance.
