How far are you from downtown Nashville?
Nashville Shores is conveniently located off I-40 just two exits east of Nashville International Airport; approximately 10 minutes east of downtown Nashville. Click here for directions.
Can I share my season pass with someone else?
All of our season passes include a photo ID, so sharing your season pass with anyone else is not permitted.
Does Nashville Shores offer a military discount?
Yes! The 2010 military discount rate is $23.99 plus tax. You must present a valid military ID.
Do you accept checks?
We do not accept personal checks.
I do not want to swim. Do I still need to pay admission?
Yes; Nashville Shores offers many dry activities, everyone entering the park must pay admission. Your all-day admission allows you to relax on our Nashville Shoreliner and enjoy 20 to 30-minute lake cruises or challenge your friends and family to a round of miniature golf on our 18-hole course. Nashville Shores also offers volleyball, basketball, and horseshoes.
Are there lockers available for rent?
Yes! The 2010 locker rates are $5 plus a $5 deposit. When you return your key, you will receive your $5 deposit back.
Are there tubes available for rent?
A limited number of complimentary tubes are provided at all attractions that require tubes on a first-come, first-serve basis. Rental tubes are also available if you would like your own personal tube for the day. Daily tube rental is $5 with a $1 deposit. You will get your deposit back when you return your tube. Outside tubes or flotation devices are prohibited.
Is there a charge for parking?
Daily parking is $8 and a season parking pass can be purchased for $29.99 plus tax.
Do your prices include tax?
No. Tennessee sales tax, 9.25%, is added to your purchases. Gate admission, concessions, and gift shop items are subject to tax.
Can I bring food, a cooler or my grill to Nashville Shores?
You can bring in one water bottle per person. Other outside food, beverages and coolers are not allowed anywhere in the park. We do offer a wide array of food in our concession stands, including pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, and chicken. Grills are prohibited on our property. Glass containers are also not allowed.
Do you serve alcoholic beverages?
Yes. Nashville Shores has two areas where alcohol is served.
What swimming attire is acceptable?
Swimsuits are required on all water attractions. Cutoffs, thong bikinis, denim shorts, or shorts with metal brads or buttons are not allowed.
What happens if it rains?
Nashville Shores remains open during periods of rain. However, operations will be suspended if there is any threat of lightning in the area. Nashville Shores will re-open as soon as the threat has passed. Click here for the latest weather forecast!
Rain Policy: During RAIN or STORMS some and/or all rides and/or slides may be shut down temporarily for your safety. RAIN CHECKS will be issued only when Nashville Shores closes for the day. Absolutely NO REFUNDS will be issued. By paying admission you have agreed to this policy and NO EXCEPTIONS will be made.
Are there any height requirements on your slides?
There are 8 water slides. Our newest slide, the Music City Racer, a six-lane racer slide, requires riders to be 48” tall. The Big Scream, Thunder and Lightning, and Tennessee Twisters also require that you are 48" tall. The Twin Cyclones requires that riders are at least 36" tall. Can I drop my child off for the day?
Yes, but children younger than 10 years old must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older.
How do I obtain an application for summer employment?
There are several ways! Stop by the Guest Relations building at Nashville Shores any time during operating hours or print out an application by clicking here!
Are boats available for rent?
Yes; you can rent jet skis and pontoon boats at Nashville Boat Rentals. Contact Nashville Boat Rentals at (615) 533-4140 for further information.
Are rides on the Shoreliner included with my admission?
Yes! The Shoreliner operates daily and is included in your admission. The cruise takes you past the J. Percy Priest dam and around the lake for a breathtaking 20 to 30-minute journey. Refreshments are available on board for purchase. Check the schedule when you enter the park for cruise times.
Can I charter the Nashville Shoreliner?
Yes! You may charter the Shoreliner for $600. This includes a two hour reservation for up to 75 people, a Captain, and a First Mate for the duration of your voyage. Concessions are available for purchase onboard. Additional hours are $200 per hour. For groups with fewer than 40 people, a fully-catered buffet can be served on the boat at an additional charge. Is there camping available at Nashville Shores?
Our campground and cabins are no longer open. For cabin rental, we would suggest the Nashville KOA (615-889-0282) or the Cedars of Lebanon State Park (615-443-2769). For primitive camping, try the Seven Points Campground (615-889-5198) or Anderson Road Campground (615-361-1980).
Are your lifeguards certified? Is there an EMT on site?
Yes! All Nashville Shores lifeguards are certified and trained in CPR and first aid. In addition, we have an EMT in our first aid station every day. Many Nashville Shores' lifeguards were recognized internationally by Ellis & Associates for their excellence. A total of seven lifeguards received the Golden Guard Award for their commitment to safety in 2007. |
